Gregg S. Bossen, CPA
Although born in Florida, I have lived in Atlanta since I was four. I love the city and consider myself a native. I stayed in Atlanta for college, going to Emory University, where I received my B.B.A. from Emory’s Goizueta Business School. After graduating I went to work for KPMG Peat Marwick, a “big 5” accounting firm, in their audit department.
After two years I received my C.P.A. license and soon thereafter decided to leave the corporate world and strike out on my own. I left in 1989, started a small practice and have been in practice ever since. I can honestly say that deciding to work for myself was one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
In addition to my practice, in 2000, I began teaching a Quickbooks seminar around the country for Real World Training, a company based out of Texas. Real World is the only company endorsed by Intuit, the makers of Quickbooks, to teach the software. I have taught this seminar over 200 times, am a certified Quickbook Proadviser and know the software inside out. I have taught to both business owners as well as other accountants. I chose to do this because I love to teach. I get a kick out of explaining things and seeing the lightbulb turn on in students heads.
Personally, I have a strong belief in the role of nonprofit organizations in my community. I have served on various nonprofit boards over the last 15 years and devote a portion of my practice to serving nonprofit organizations. In 2003, I wrote a training class that teaches nonprofits how to use Quickbooks to fulfill there unique accounting needs. The class, Quickbooks for Nonprofits, is available on CD-ROM/DVD. It is being sold around the country by both Intuit, Real World Training and is also available through this web side.

I was born in Marietta, GA and have lived in Atlanta since. I attended college in Clemson, SC at Clemson University where I majored in political science and international studies. I went to work for Gregg in 1989 after several jobs and have been with him ever since.
I like the fact that one of our firm’s specialties is doing audits for not-for-profit organizations. I enjoy the people who are involved with these organizations and respect the dedication they all have to their missions.
When I am not at work, I like to spend time with my dog hiking in the woods, traveling to dog friendly beaches in Florida and visiting our friends in the north Georgia mountains.
